C. Capacity Building

Capacity Building means to help developing nations be a part of international environmental cooperation, or policy-making, by giving them the money and education they need to do so. Technology Transfer, or sharing skills, information, and new ways of doing things in an environmentally responsible way, is an important tactic in Capacity Building.

*The Global Environmental Facility (GEF) was created by the World Bank, UNEP and UNDP in 1991 to give money for environmental projects in developing nations.
