E. Governing the Commons

The Global Commons are areas of the Earth - such as the ocean floor and Antarctica - the Earth’s atmosphere, and outer space that do not belong to any one country. These places often face more pollution and destruction of resources because people are not restricted from doing so.

*For example, people have fished the oceans to extreme, killing some species of fish and / or whales completely. Also, satellites used for modern technology are often left in space like garbage.
